House in Umag

Kaštel

In this interior design project for a newly built house in Kaštel (Umag), the design approach is based on a sophisticated blend of contemporary minimalism and warm, natural materials. The space is dominated by muted tones—shades of anthracite, beige, and light wood—which create an atmosphere of calm and refinement, perfectly suited to the needs of a dynamic young couple who occasionally work from home.

Integrated LED lighting subtly highlights the architectural lines and textures, adding depth to the space and enabling ambient flexibility—from a soothing evening mood to an energizing daytime rhythm. Through a delicate interplay of light, texture, and color, we created a space that fosters focus while also providing a sense of warmth and comfort.
The central theme of the interior is the balance between functionality and aesthetics: a monolithic kitchen with integrated appliances, minimalist wardrobes, and clearly defined zones for work, socializing, and relaxation make the home both functional and comfortable for everyday living.
